Are you really Catholic?

Yes. Old Catholics accept the essentials of Catholicism: the seven Sacraments and governance which gives the people a voice and a vote according to our Constitution and By-Laws.

Is the pope in union with you?

When the pope and the Curia are financially accountable to one another and to the people, and when moral accountability is expressed in just reparation, then the pope will be in union with us. Mere mea culpas (apologies) will not suffice.

What is your position regarding sexual abuse?

Any unwelcomed homosexual and/or heterosexual act perpetrated upon a person or persons is a serious violation of our moral code and constitutes grounds for dismissal. Such act (s) will be immediately reported to the police.

Is the Old Catholic Church Apostolic?

Yes. The Archbishop of this Archdiocese can trace his Apostolic Succession, like that of the Roman Catholic Bishops, to the Apostles. Academic, spiritual, and moral requisites must first be met according to our Constitution and By-Laws.

Can married men/women be ordained priests?

Yes. Academic, spiritual, and moral requisites must first be met according to our Constitution and By-Laws.

How is your Archbishop chosen?

The Archbishop is chosen from among qualified bishops and priests according to our Constitution and By-Laws.

When is the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe celebrated?

The Celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is celebrated on the First Saturday of December at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Reformed Church, 401 60th Street, West New York, New Jersey.
